Pfizer Rome: The Private-Jet CEO Interview That Was Still Just a Proper Shoot
A short career anecdote about being flown to Rome by private jet to capture a Pfizer CEO interview, and the very practical production work behind the glamorous travel detail.

THE BRIEF
The brief sounded glamorous from the outside: fly to Rome by private jet and capture a CEO interview for Pfizer.
The job was simple and high-pressure: capture a clean interview to broadcast standard inside a tight window. That means calm room, clean framing, good sound, no fuss and no drama around the person being filmed.
THE APPROACH
Then the work starts and the glamour disappears, as it should. You still unload kit. You still find the room. You still check the light. You still test the audio twice. You still respect the principal’s time, because senior interview windows are not elastic.

WHAT IT PROVES
What stayed with me was the contrast. One side of the day had private terminals and a schedule that only worked because the travel was unusual. The other side was the same production craft I trust on any shoot: sound, light, framing, eye line, preparation and calm.
The transport changed. The work did not.
