BUILT AROUND THE SHOW

Event Websites and Platforms

They look fine until the real show starts asking questions. Where does the agenda live? Who updates speaker bios? Can the stream sit next to voting? Can the China audience watch? Can the producer change a session without begging a developer? Can this be reused next year? I build event websites and hybrid platforms as someone who understands the live show behind them. The website, stream, speakers, agenda, showflow and audience layer should not be six separate islands.

Process · built around the show

  1. Map the format into a schema

A workshop to map your event format into a data model — events, sessions, speakers, agendas, sponsors, registration. The output is a schema you can read, designed so you can clone and rebrand the next event.

  2. Two-week increments

Visible increments to a staging URL with real data — registration, then agenda and speakers, then audience features and stream embeds. We do not disappear for a month and re-emerge with a demo.

  3. Stream, voting, polling

The platform is designed around the stream, not next to it, so latency-sensitive features like live voting and polling stay in sync with what people are watching. China-friendly delivery planned with the streaming layer.

  4. You own it

Codebase in your repo, deploys to your hosting, a clean API and a strong editor experience. Optional retainer for upkeep and new features. Day-rate, project-rate and retained support depending on scope.

Plain prose, three sentences. Date, format, scale, what would count as a good show. I reply within a working day.
